MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE
You will learn the fundamentals of taking a good photograph, review both the smartphone camera and its native editing functions, as well as exploring popular photo apps. There will be opportunity’s during the class to practice what you learn and receive feedback.
This course is designed for people who want to improve their skills and understanding of mobile photography in order to take better and more artistic pictures of people, places and things.
Course Content: After a brief discussion of how to use your phone’s camera to its fullest capabilities, we’ll put your new knowledge to work by going on a photo walk in the garden. You need only your mobile phones and imagination.

‘GETTING OFF AUTO’
If you have been using your camera ion Auto or trying various settings with mixed results, this workshop will give you a good foundation in photography in just one day. You will have ample hands-on practice and take-home handouts and assignments to refine your skills – practice makes perfect!
Course Content: Learn how to create blurred backgrounds (and why you would want to) in your portrait and close-up shots to make your subject really stand out, and take detailed landscape photos, by shooting in Aperture Priority. Find the fastest way to access your camera’s features, how shutter speed affects your photos and how to avoid camera shake by adjusting ISO. Learn how to add interest to your photos with some tips on composition and put it all into practice by taking some close-up, portrait & landscape shots in the garden.
Please Bring: Camera (this can be DSLR, Mirrorless Compact System (CSC), Four-Thirds, Bridge, Superzoom and Compact)
Tripod (if you have one)
Memory cards and fully charged battery.
